thought i'd update really quick before i go to class...
so i FINALLY got to sleep before the sun came up last night/this morning. i think i got to sleep around 3:30AM. Apparently the combination of two tylenol pm, melatonin, and the other mild sleeping pills i have is enough to get me to go to sleep at a more reasonable time. so that's working for me and it's kind of exciting actually. the only bad thing was i woke up at around 7AM and couldn't get back to sleep. So it got to be around 9:20, and i decided to just get up a little early (my alarm was set for 9:30) and have a little extra time to chill and wake up before class.
despite getting so little sleep, i'm feeling really good right now. yes i do feel tired, my body is a little shaky, but i'm up and i'm in a very good mood, which is a big win for me. i think i might actually get through this, the longest day of my school week (class from 10AM to 9:30PM, with a few short breaks in between) without being totally miserable or leaving class early or skipping class.
this is the first time in weeks that i felt like i might be able to make it through this and come out the other side still capable of doing the things i want to do, without having to take opiates or anything else. the only problem is i start expecting a lot out of myself and i have to be careful not to push it too hard. i need to be happy with slow steady progress... although to be honest i kinda need to be kicking ass right now because i have much work to do in the next week and a half. a very short time for what i have to accomplish. still though, if i can get through that then i'll have two weeks of vegas and LA to just have a nice time and enjoy myself and feel good about what i've accomplished
